That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  Well, after a few hours of glorious sun and blue skies -- all of them during the time that I had an appointment, was on the bus, was preparing dinner etc. -- well, you get the picture -- no chance for photography. So, back to the files and some wonderful reminiscing of sunnier times!!

Lord, the money we do spend on Government and it's not one bit better than the government we got for one-third the money twenty years ago.

I really like your summer scenes -- it certainly makes this cold day seem warmer. The waterfall is beautiful and, of course, you know how much I like roses.

You pulled out some wonderful shots from your archive. I guess the rains have decided they like you more than they like us down here.

Love your photos especially the waterfall :)
Yesterday's news in Sweden told about a red waterfall here. Somebody had painted it!
I would have been better to paint it in photoshop I thought ;)
Best wishes Sylvia!

It would have been better ... (correcting)

Those timber logs on the beach, are they going to waste? I come from Borneo, once we had plenty of timber, now, it is almost gone.

You have a remarkable back file, Sylvia. Waterfalls, daisies, and George Carlin - all bring smiles in winter and on busy days.

Can't wait to see what you pull out for us next.

Great series of shots. The waterfall was wonderful and I liked the flowers also.

I am in awe as always of your photographs. And I have the most enormous respect for the way you are able to go your library for the perfect photos;; I don't remember that you've ever used the same one twice. You must have either a great memory or a terrific photo-filing system or both. These were all just beautiful; the white rose is perfect.

Your photos are a perfect way to reminisce - when weather and time don't cooperate. I like the new Blog color and the Header sketch, too!

lol. You have been working with your photos. Adding frames and stuff. I like that.
I also like the waterfall. All photos are great, but I have a really soft spot for waterfalls. And this one looks good. :)

Why, oh why does that lovely waterfall lall Willie Nelson's voice into being, something about "by a waterfall."
An armful of marguerites would do me just fine. I love their pristine beauty.

I'm sorry I have not visited more often lately. My brain is suffering from overload.

Have a great week . . . Arija

Those ferry boats are a signature of Western Washington. What a fine picture you've posted of one!

The Will Rogers quote about the cost of government reminds «Louis» of P.J. O'Rourke's quip: "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys."
