Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!! A little sun, not much, but enough to build hopes as we wait breathlessly for spring and glorious sunshine!!

A hush is over everything, Silent as women wait for love; The world is waiting for the spring.

Your home has a great sense of style in subject. Likewise, the shadows add even more depth to this stylish abode. Sun near Seattle - something to savor!

Your poinsettias remind me of the ones I saw in Guadalajara. Lucky ones--they don't have to grow in pots, but in the ground year 'round!

A PARFAIT DAY

A seeker of shadows one day
Did trip as she went on her way;
She picked herself up
And dipped from a cup
Of shadowy lemon parfait!

I should have read your post before I did my photohunt post. It was on shadows, and I didn't have many shadow photos.

Did you ever play the "catch your shadow" game when you were young? We did it in Borneo.

You are again the Queen of Shadows (in a good way). I like the cross hatch shadows a lot.

I hope that you are having a good weekend. I got a little geocaching in as I had some time for myself and got to see some newborn lambs later in the day.

Sylvia, I love your "collection" of shots--what a good deal! Five in One!!!!! All of them are lovely--I think the turtle stole the most hearts. My "shadow" picture was taken at Wichita Botanical Gardens and, you are right, there are a ton of lovely little spots with benches to just sit and enjoy a beautiful day. Thank you for your sweet comments--it's always nice to see your name come up on my blog. Mickie
