Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Because things are the way they are, things will not stay the way they are.
Bertolt Brecht

Change in all things is sweet.

If we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living.
Gail Sheehy

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
Alan Watts

Sylvia, Where do you find these skies!!! Lovely. Great quotes ( oh, I think I've said that before). And, your "snow humor" is just that--humorous. Thanks. Mickie

I see a plane on the air shot now and I immediatly think of the attacks on Libya but, gladly, these are not war images and you did a great job capturing them.
Wish you all the best regarding your life in the new house, Sylvia.

Sometimes I get tired of the whole embrace change thing but it really is the best way to deal with it, its just stressful.

Your skies are gorgeous and the snowmen are hilarious. Great stuff.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
