Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!
A quick update on my big move -- I had no idea what or how much information and time this move was going to require -- don't you love big corporations????? Anyway, after dozens of phone calls and faxes we were finally able to get it all together and now it has to go to Corporate for final stamp! Looks like the end of the month now. We took the latest/last bit of info to them yesterday and I got another look at the apartment and it looks even better than it did the first time and I am SO excited -- frustrated, but excited! I'll keep you posted and have shadowy photos soon!

I always marvel at the perfect quotes you find, but this one today may be the best ever. (Until tomorrow ;>) ... you always seem to outdo yourself.

Red tape is a bummer. I thought we were supposed to be through with all that when we retired and got 'out of the rat race'...but it doesn't seem to work that way does it?

Another array of great shadowy subjects. Who's the guy in the statue and where is it?
Hope the moving adventure finishes well and with the least amoubnt of stress.

Peace

Moving is so stressful - just relax and have a large glass of wine!! Another lovely collage. Enjoy the rest of the weekend - we have had wonderful weather here!

The green grass and the shadow of the still leafless tree says that Spring has arrived! The deck furniture sets up the strong sun and seasonal warmth. The rose is astounding as the shadows emanate from outside and inside the petals. Sweet, we all hope for an uneventful move at the end of the month!

isn't it absurd how much paperwork is required for everything!!

Lovely collage, Sylvia. Hopefully the paperwork will eventually end, and your move will be smooth!

In the upper left photo, the tree seems to be reclining in the grass! Of course, it's only a shadow!

WELCOME THE SHADOWS

Welcome the shadows surrounding your life,
Treat them as lover or husband or wife;
Welcome them in as you would one who’s dear;
Hug them, embrace them without any fear;
Honor, respect them, and give them their due,
For shadow and light are both parts of you.

The rose shadow is awesome! I'm way behind today, I was at 'Accepted Student's Day' at the college my son will be attending in the fall.

The end of the month is sooner than we think! How exciting to have change to anticipate. I, for one, hate to move! When we moved into this house 17 years ago, I said, 'that's it; no more moves!". We'll see how long that lasts. o far, so good!

Unknown said...

Love shadows again Sylvia, oh I hope the move goes well looking forward to seeing new pics. Have a wonderful week. Jo
