Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind.
Lionel Hampton

Joy, living in the moment, plus lack of fear equals abundance. Live for the moment without fear and you have all you truly need.

When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.

I love your treed skyline with the lovely yellowy sky, but I have to agree with Jack, the second photo is, indeed, heavenly.

That second photo with the clouds is magnificent. Couple that with the quote about living without fear and you've given us something to remember.

If ever there was a quote that encapsulates my life it is this one, Sylvia: Joy, living in the moment, plus lack of fear equals abundance. Live for the moment without fear and you have all you truly need.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
