Rainy, windy weather has ushered Fall into Seattle this week, consequently, I haven't been able to get out with the camera. But as I looked through my files I found some to share with you, view some of the wonderful, beautiful places in my corner of Our World!  From the mountains to the ocean, from winter to spring and everywhere in between, it is a beautiful world!

Hope all of you have a wonderful week ahead, a week with lots of laughter and beauty and love!

Great series, but the snow is a little scary!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

These are lovely captures of days gone by, Sylvia. But yikes … that snow scene gave me a start! I sure hope we won’t be seeing too much of that in the winter to come. Love Tolstoy’s brilliant observation about people wanting to change pretty much everything and everyone but themselves. :)

I think it is because we do not have winter, that the snow shot appealed to me... Well, that and Mount Ranier (right?)

Have a lovely week, mon amie!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
