Once again, we've had a little of everything over the past week, from blue, blue skies, to gray, from sunshine to stormy, stormy days and nights with downpours!  Some trees still have their leaves although no longer green and some are stark naked -- already!!

So beautiful, Sylvia! Mahalo for sharing!

there is something about a bare tree that I find so beautiful
they show their character and shape and look like ancient hands
and the water is so blue
wonderful contrast

Great header shot, I love the colors from your world! :)

Beautiful trees, Sylvia, I love the way the light turns the one into gold.
As for the quote you chose to go with it, I am surprised that Paul Harvey ever said anything I could agree with, but then, I'm sure he was thinking of a Democrat led Congress.

Some fantastic shots here as usual, Sylvia. Love the dozens of sails on the horizon and the super crisp orange and red foliage of the autumn leaves. Lyndon Johnson's descriptive take on the presidency made me smile. I think most people have similar moments during turbulent times in life. :)

Goodness, Sylvia, those colors are out of this world; what a stark contrast of yellows, reds and oranges. Thanks so much for the lovliness...

Lovely shots, Sylvia. The red and yellow leaves are so vivid, very different from anything we see. It's funny that you're saying some trees have "already" lost their leaves, ours are all long gone. I hope you and Sam have a great week!

Wow! Look at the colours of the leaves! It is like molten gold sprinkled on the trees.

Oh my goodness, Sylvia, what amazing color, and I don't mean the trees. I mean the beautiful blue of the ocean! Wonderful!
