Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

It's supposed to snow here tonight and tomorrow -- probably not a lot of accumulation, but snow is snow and it is COLD!  I went looking for WARM shadow shots in the files!!  Hope all of you have a lovely weekend -- preferably with lots of warm sun!!

The placidly swimming ducks seem to be inviting me to cast my cares aside for a while and contemplate all things beautiful and serene.

I HAVE A LITTLE SHADOW

I have a little shadow that always follows me;
My shadow is my best friend, as anyone can see.

No matter where my feet go, my shadow’s always there—
Except, of course, at midnight with darkness everywhere!

The ducks are full of down, so they stay warm no matter what the temp. Swimmingly so, it seems...

Your teal carafe and stemware leave long and elegant shadows. SnoW Whatever, the artistic shadows live beyond the weather!

That lake scene just fills me with serenity. I can almost hear the bird sounds and the trickling of the water as another lands by his cohorts. And your window glass? Stunning!!! Love the red vase best, as I have a small collection of ruby glass.

Have a great Thanksgiving Sylvia.

My favorite is the green glass and bottle. There is such warmth in it, beautiful light and shadows, something about it just grabs me... But the whole series is of course delightful, as always! Enjoy your Sunday!

And, warm shadows you did find. The ducks on the pond, with the trees reflecting in the water, is so lovely. It makes me want to sit sit down in the grass and soak up the sun while watching the ducks swim along.
The soft details of the lace in shadow aside the red vase is gorgeous as is the green bottle and glass.
Wonderful photos!!
Stay warm and Happy Thanksgiving!!
