We had a gorgeous day yesterday, chilly, but gorgeous! Lots of sun and blue skies and fluffy clouds.  To start out with a quick look at the harbor, on to my favorite market for some beautiful flowers, a stroll on the beach and a glorious sunset over the water!! Doesn't get any better!!
There are always flowers for those who want to see them.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind
young.

Oh, oh, Sylvia, the snowflakes (on your site) have reappeared. Seems like this year has flown by in a wink and soon it will be Christmas. Good thing there are colorful flowers to find amid bunches of wintry scenes we are sure to capture in the coming days. :)

Beautiful pics, One of the biggest bargains in the world is that flower sellers let us take photos of their work for free!

The sun has returned to my part of the world as well. I'm enjoying it but wondering when the rain will return. I love the sun but know the west always needs water.

That does look like a beautiful day, Sylvia - great shots. It was 0 degrees when I went out to clear the driveway of last night's snow, and neither Socks nor I like going out when it's this cold. I hope you have a great week!

Those flowers look so fresh and they could make a wonderful arrangement in your living room!

We are getting a cooler weather these days, too, but I envy your harbor sights!

It certainly does sound like the perfect day, I love to go up to our markets on a Sunday morning and choose flowers for the week ahead. Sylvia you must be so very well attuned to your surroundings to interpret them so beautifully each time, the third image with the little red yacht in the background is my favorite.

Great set of pictures - the colours look to warm for the snow flakes, but I'm sure to be wrong!

Autumn foliage is like flowers in autumn, numerous yachts looks like white flowers in the blue ocean in the first image, which really goes well the quote. Thank you for the fabulous shots and meaningful quotes as always, Sylvia.

Today I too had a good day, i picked every viable rose in my garden and made a bouquet to a little lady in our little town for her 90th birthday. I had met her a few times at the doctor's surgery. I also brought some fresh cherries from our local orchardist. It just felt so good to do that.
Love your flowers and seascapes.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company.
