The water and reflections in that first photo are just lovely -- I'm very happy where we are while at the same time missing the Northwest -- thanks for the reminder of it's beauty!

Lovely scenes and fantastic quotes Sylvia. You seem to have an unending supply of brilliant quotes, where do you find them all (or is it a secret)?

Both of these are beautiful scenes, but I'm partial to the waterfall. I also like Maya Angelou's advice.

Almost missed your post because I was so involved with your HOliday Inn entry. Buddy and I are still giggling. Loved the falling show flakes in your first shot, and that waterfall is to die for. Plum gorgeous. Happy Wednesday night. genie

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
