I always love your photos, Sylvia, and that gold one makes me think of sunset photos I shot just south of Seattle on the Amtrak to central Oregon last week. I'm sure I'll be publishing it soon but it can't touch yours for golden beauty!

I really like the color and sun rays in your first photo. I also like the quote from Francis Bacon. It sounds about right to me.

Beautiful reflections, Sylvia. I think I'll adopt Francis Bacon's way of thinking--sounds like a good idea to me!! Have a wonderful weekend. Mickie :)

Fabulous weekend reflections here Sylvia, your marina looks a lot like my marina except for the snow capped mountains in the backdrop! Would love that. Hope you're enjoying your weekend, me, I'm starting to panic and think perhaps it's time I started Christmas shopping, it's approaching faster than a speeding bullet!!

I love the Twain quote. Just between you and me Heaven sounds a little boring sometimes. Don't tell anybody I said that.

Those squiggly reflections in the second shot about knocked me off my feet. They are so cool. Who would have though a mast could be lest than perfectly straight and erect. The other two photos are nice, too. The sunset in the first and the boats in the marina touching the water are wonderful. No marinas around here...just mountains. genie

Love all three but the middle shot with the boats wiggling their masts in the water like nervous anglers is just superb.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
