Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

And another weekend approaches! Gray, grumpy weather and I was looking for some humor this week! Be careful when you scroll down past the second shot -- that guy is not in the mood for cold weather any more than I am!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Lots of love and laughter as we get another week closer to the big Day!!

Beautiful snake!

Everytime I remember I was photographed with a big python around my shoulders in Thailand (one of those things for tourists, you know - not my kind at all! LOL!), I wonder why I did it! :-)))

I didn't post reflections this week so I had to check out yours. I always enjoy your watery reflections and the snake is an unusual capture.
Hope your having a great day, Sylvia.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful reflections, and thanks for the warning about the guy in the second photo. I really like all of your quotes, although I especially agree with W. C. Fields.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Eeeewww on that snake, but cool shot. I'm not a fan. Would like to be out in the sailboat today under warm and sunny skies. And as always your sunsets are divine.

Lovely reflections, Sylvia. We're supposed to have a warm, sunny weekend, so I'll try to get out with Socks between family activities. Give Sam a pat from us!

Beautiful blue sea also Sylvia, love the sailboat skimming across the water. Beautiful patterns on the snake skin, wouldn't like to get too close. You're new header is a scream, great prescription you have there, your friend Ugich is Mumbai is so funny. All is good here in Perth, hopefully also in your part of the world Sylvia.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
