It seems there are always difficulties along life’s way as well as joy within them. I really like the Helen Keller method you quoted. And the header theme is such delicious fun! When we're imagining "ice-cream clouds” amid “chocolate sauce rain", spring can't be far behind. :)

Ah, spring. I remember spring. It will be a long time in coming here, but when it arrives, it will be beautiful. Your photos, meanwhile, are lovely, and I especially like the otters.

Yes, I am definitely looking forward to spring. I like winter, though, I have to admit.

Yes, I'm guessing that these are not from the last week! But they're lovely shots, and something to look forward to.

I recently added Helen Keller's autobiography to my Nook, and I'm looking forward to reading it.

It's working its way north. Saw the first hint of it in some of the orchards off I-5 on our way back from visiting Michael. A close look at my own fruit trees show the beginning of bud-break.

What a lovely collage Sylvia. I so wish that you could have been there with us, two none too young ladies getting up backwards like cows from ground-level soothing. You would have split your sides laughing.
I really would love to see you and must get myself to Seattle come hell or high water.

Spring is just around the corner - rather a long corner, maybe, but worth travelling. I love the blossom on those trees and the lavender fields.

We are all dreaming of spring here also.
With the subzero temperatures we are having the last dew days here in Greece.
Have a beautiful warm day Sylvia.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
