Shadow Shot Sunday!

Shadow Shot Sunday #2 - Magical Mystical Teacher + Chubskulit + Gemma Wiseman

Don't postpone joy until you have learned all of your lessons. Joy is your lesson.
Alan Cohen
And Joy is Everywhere;

It is in the Earth's green covering of grass;
In the blue serenity of the Sky;
In the reckless exuberance of Spring;
In the severe abstinence of gray Winter;
 Rabindranath Tagore
Resolve to keep happy and your joy and you shall form an invincible host
against difficulties.  Helen Keller
The key to life is imagination. If you don't have that, no matter what you
have, it's meaningless. If you do have imagination. you can make feast of
straw.

BOOKISH SHADOWS

Darksome shadows in my path,
You are not the Grapes of Wrath;

And yet when I hear your hums,
Something Wicked This Way Comes!

May your darkness turn to light
Like The House of Mirth, all right?

May all sadness drift away—
Send Lolita here to play!

Oh oh! My favorite ruby glass shadow. That's a comforting sight for me always, no matter the angle or perspective you've captured. And I'm really loving that gulls in the parking lot shot - how fun. You had an audience. The quotes today are perfect for steeling us against the January chill. I forgot to mention yesterday how hard I laughed when I saw your new header. That is a HOOT. happy SSS to you Sylvia. keep your toes warm.

Given the snow, ice, rain and flooding around SEA, these views are so nice, the warm sun and resulting shadows the reminder of nicer weather...soon again we hope!

Love your newest masthead. Your Mumbai buddy is very clever.

Terrific Shadow Shots Sylvia...I thought for sure you would have some from all that snow that has been dumped on Seattle lately though!! Happy SSS to you.

Nice shadows, Sylvia, but I don't think you are having much chance for shadow shots lately.

The shadow shot of the glasses is GREAT... I love seeing that sweet little doggie --and your Canada Goose--and other birds...

YES---JOY is all around us. We just need to look for it.

Are those eyeglass frames red? If so, great! Red is definitely your color and it looks good on you.

Looks like the sea gulls are trying to decide who park where! I also love the double treat with the red glass and your reading glasses. Hope the snow didn't hinder you much.

All great shadows Sylvia. I love the dog.

Sylvia,
I love the doves in the parking lot...what is it they are waiting for? don't you wonder?
I'm not sure what it is that is creating the red on the table with the shadow but it is lovely...reminds me of my grandmother's red window in her house and everything that sat in front of it turned to red glows...

If I didn't see your sweet dog there...I might have thought, "maybe a rooster?".
Always love your colorful glass shadows!

Mr Sam looks as handsome as ever in that first shot! He is adorable! The birds in the street look as if they own it! And the table shadows are like a pool of magic! Just stunning!

Love the Canadian Goose...but I am 100% positive my favorite this week is the Christmas Cactus image with the reflection of the red vase and the eye glasses. A picture paints a 1000 words, that one is the epitome.
