The Candy With the Little Hole

You have to love little kids!

The children began to identify the flavors by their color:

Red.....................Cherry
Yellow.................Lemon
Green.................Lime
Orange ..............Orange

Finally the teacher gave them all HONEY lifesavers.
None of the children could identify the taste.

The teacher said, "I will give you all a clue." "It's what your Mother may sometimes call your Father."

One little girl looked up in horror, spit out her lifesaver and yelled, "Oh my God, they're ass-holes!"

The teacher had to leave the room.

You have no idea how I am laughing right now. All the kids are SOL testing so I have some free time to do commenting. I must admit that I hear that term all the time and just ignore it. When the child calms down it is then I talk to him about his choice of words. Now, this is going to show you how OVER THE HILL I am. I have just spent the last 30 minutes commenting on LAST weeks posts. My decline is going a bit more quickly than I would like. So here I go starting over with this weeks posts. genie

Hello Sylvia. Always good to start the day with a smile as I commute to work on the train. The other passengers are looking at me strangely as I smile at my IPad!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
