We're back to gray and rain, but I still have some photos  from the sunny days!! Hope you enjoy!!
I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

You've shared some beautiful scenes in spite of the gray and rain. I'm hoping for sun all day today so I can get the lawn mowed.

Love the tulip petals bursting with color. The quote about “improving or enjoying” the world is interesting. In a perfect world the very act of improving the world would just naturally be enjoyable.

Wonderful tulips! Your world will be even greener next time the sun comes out.

Beautiful pics Sylvia, especially the tulips.

I loved all the quotes especially the Borrough quote. I had to laugh, I don't have enough time for all his stuff, and I still have to work! So I have double the trouble.

Nice post again Sylvia!!

Those are lovely shots from your sunny days, Sylvia. We just got back to Colorado after a fast trip to CA to move my daughter, so I haven't made my blog rounds yet. Have a great week!

That’s not a bad looking place for rain and grey skies!

As for history - there's a lot more where that came from!

I happen to have very sensitive feet, loath to wear brsnd new shoes, because I get blisters, when the season changes, despite wearing old shoes, the blisters return. My dad said, i should be a Iban in Boreno and go barefooted.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
