I haven't been able to get out and about to take many photos this past week, so I began browsing through some earlier ones of "my world" and the beauty of our world never ceases to amaze me! How blessed we all are to be surrounded by so many awesome sights!!
Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.

I like the soft glow on the mountaintop. I’ve seen it myself many times but always marvel at the sight. The header was a surprise! It is always nice to hear Lindy’s name mentioned. :)

Tex, that is a glass creation from the Chihuly Glass museum and it does look like a flower, doesn't it! Thanks for stopping by, as always!!

To truly bring Change to the World, One must Surrender to the Change that is inherent in every moment. This then sweeps those you focus upon off their feet with a mere glance.

We are blessed for the reasons you mention and because you share your photos with us as well! (I haven't taken many pix this week either, but my archives aren't as fantastic as yours are, so I skipped My World! ... Back next week ;>)) I hope your reasons for not getting out much last week were busy-ness and not anything more serious.

Hi there - nice set of pictures. I was very pleased with the way the reef pictures came out! I was just floating on the surface and clicking in the general direction of things that looked good! Not really the recommended method!

You've picked a wonderful selection here Sylvia and you didn't even have to leave home. Mt. Rainier looks amazing bathed in light.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
