Sky Watch Friday!!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by  the Sky Watch team of  Sandy and I. And this week as every week, we remember Klaus and know that he joins us in spirit! Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week!
And our gorgeous weather continues!! Amazing and I love it!! We have had a little of everything in regards to our skies which is the norm for us! Hope you enjoy these and have a grand weekend!!

The appearance of things change according to the emotions and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty really are in ourselves.  Kahlil Gibran

Hi Sylvia, I'm back from vacation, and little by little I'm reinstating the blogger world.
Com orelse reflected in your entry, the appearance of things change according to our moods and emotions of the moment ... and thus we see magic and beauty in them, but that's what we actually doing?, Or is what we want to see ....
Greetings. -

I looked at these beautiful photos and then read Gibran's words and then tried to pull a rabbit out of a hat and I found that Gibran's wrong...no magic at all! Plus, the rabbit ran away! He was a beauty, too. :-))

I appreciate you sharing the Kierkegaard quote. Lucky you can't see forward or maybe you wouldn't act at all.

Hi Sylvia...in re your comment on The Villages...

The Villages is now 80K strong and growing...there are two "hometowns" - Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing - and another is being built at this moment.

Each of the hometowns has a market square with gazebo. Every night of the year, barring inclement weather, live music is provided in each market square. Bars are set up on the perimeter and it's 2 for 1 from 5 'til 7. Dancing is encouraged.

These are some of the reasons The Villages is so popular. :-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
