Weekend Reflections!!

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.  Will Rogers

Life isn't a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, latte in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
'Woohoo WHAT A RIDE'!

The top image could have been taken from a biblical movie. Fantastic, Sylvia!

The rays shining through the clouds in the first image are marvelous Sylvia, but the quote with the second shot is priceless...and one that I totally agree with haha! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, take care.

Beautiful reflective photos, Sylvia. Have a great weekend with Sam - we finally got a good rain a couple of days ago and it was snow on the mountain peaks!

Will Rogers was often right on target. I don't do that anymore 'cause at my age I've got no one to impress anymore! The reflections in that first photo are tres magnifique!

Hope your weekend is filled with fun and photos!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
