Great shots and quotes. I'd love to go on that sailing ship. I hope you're having a great week, Sylvia.

Beautiful subjects! Hard to choose a favourite shot.

P.S. My mother's heart condition seems to be controlled now and, finally, she left the hospital yesterday. Thank you so much for your care, Sylvia. Hopefully I can blog on a normal daily basis from now on again.

I love the sailboat. I have quite fondness for photographing sailing ships. They're so graceful under sail like this. Thanks for sharing.

I've always wished I could sail on a tall ship like the one in your first photo. I'm also a fan of Charlie Brown, so this photo is a big hit with me. But thank you for all the beauty and wisdom in this post.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
