I love your two quotes today very much Sylvia.
I also thought your reaction on Genie's mothers not watching their kids in Paris was to the point.
and finally, I wish you an excellent weekend

That first shot is so neat!

This glass house is stark, yet the hanging sculpture leaves a dappled shadow that really enhanced the marble floor...the sun and shadows that fall upon the easy chair are quite inviting - a warm place of solitude and napping. Neat captures!

Stunning & colorful sculpture ~ love it!! Love your "quiet spot" as well...looks like a lovely spot to look out the window and gaze!

An empty canvas for shadows. A comfy chair that has a slight jailers feel to it and makes me wonder once I sit, will I get back up.

Lovely shot at the Glass Museum. We went to Tacoma last week to visit our kids, but the 14 yr old grandson wasn't interested in glass (we didn't even ask)...one of these years we'll get back there. Love the shot in your house too.

The artwork in the first photo is so romantic and beautiful! It reminds me somehow of the textures of sliced oranges and lemons and maybe grapefruit! Beautiful! And such delightful shadow shapes on the chair!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
