Weekend Reflections!!

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

To get up each morning with the resolve to be happy is to set our own conditions to the events of each day. To do this is to condition
circumstances instead of being conditioned by them.

The first one offers quite the dramatic perfect set, with this beautiful and radiant sky, but I like also the second picture. Zoos makes me so sad, and the quote you find to complete it is very true...

Do you think that it applies to women, too ? ;)

I'm already full of faith... :)

To see your reflections and the many citations you find is to see reflections of life itself.

Water, water everywhere
On which the sun can set
And where a tree's reflection
Can end up getting wet.

Nice work, Sylvia!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
