Weekend Reflections!

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of  possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.

Meadows' quote hits the nail on the head perfectly! I like the 3rd image, but I LOVE the pond image!

Love the header, and the panorama of #1, and the reflections of #2, but #3 has a magnificence all its own! Perfection!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Lovely post of the natural world, with a little political commentary thrown in. Bravo, Sylvia! (and as for Venice, last I heard people were wading thigh-deep through Piazza San Marco -- a combination of torrential rains and tide. . .)

Lovely pictures. I feel a tinge of sadness looking at the peaceful waters, especially on the third picture.

I really like Borland's quote and can really relate to it. Grass just won't quit and trees do require patience and care.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
