A Wonderful Christmas!!!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!! I surely did and it was wonderful to be with my kids for a few days. I realize now that many of you thought that my going to Portland for the holidays was the permanent move, but that won't be until April when my lease here expires. So this visit was  just for the holiday fun and it  was fun indeed!! But wouldn't you know!!! My camera got "ill" and I've had to rely mostly on my son's photos!! But the good news is -- David got me a new camera for Christmas, but it was late arriving and I won't have it in hand until tomorrow! So much for Christmas photos this year, but I will share some of the kids photos later! In the meantime here are the newly weds yesterday!!

How about those smiles!!!

So glad you could spend Christmas with the 'kids'. The newlyweds do look blissfully happy. I wish then a long and happy life together.
I do think that as we get older, it is most important to be near our children and grandchildren, no matter how many friends we might have elsewhere.
Belated Christmas wishes and a Very, Very Happy New Year my dear.

Hi Sylvia! Hope you are having a great season! Sorry for the absence, but 2012 was definitely a difficult year here in Portugal, and even worse for me...
Wish you a very Happy 2013, and enjoy Grenada in Blogtrotter Two!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
