Great pics and quotes for the day. Helen Keller is quite the inspiration. Plus I guess that I'm passed middle age. I'll miss Dick Clark this year.

flamingos are such a wonderful and cheerful color, especially when one is sloshing through melting snow!
love the serenity of the water view.
love the funny quote from Bill Vaughn, whoever he is! it's all a point of view in relation to age, isn't it?

Your skies are always amazing... reflected or not... and your header is a howl and a half... But I also have to comment on the Bill Vaughn quote: if I feel still feel the jet lag on Monday the way I've been feeling it all week, not a hope in hell I'll be up till midnight! LOL! Sylvie, hope there was joy and good cheer in your home this holiday season. Wish you health and happiness for the coming year... and lots of great blogging, of course.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
