A few wintry scenes around Seattle before Sam and I head for Portland on Friday!!  Lots of excitement being felt here!  Adam will be here on Thursday and we'll pack up and  head out!!
I may drop out of sight for a bit, but I'll have lots to share with you after the holidays!!

I found this unhappy little sea gull looking for some warm sand one year when we had a white Christmas!!

He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree.

Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling.

Looks like the huddled gull is standing in a busy spot between tire tracks and footprints. I think right after the picture was taken it must have flown away to warmer grounds perhaps like you. Have fun in Portland, Sylvia!

Your little heart must be thumping away with anticipation. There is both sadness and excitement in moving from one city to the next. But, you are a resilient gal and I'll bet you roll with the punches as well as anyone. Have fun! (And Merry Christmas.)

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
