Your post made me wonder where we would be without shadows...shadows help define things, etch them into our consciousness, give them substance, make them 3-dimensional.

My fave is #3...so warm and inviting!

I am flabbergasted by the hugeness of your Christmas Cactus Sylvia. And may I add that the 'new for me header' is fantastic.

When the Christmas cactus bear flowers, I know that Jesus birth is on the way.

The header reminds me of Sinatra singing Come fly with me, let's fly away. Even if it is on the ground...The stemware makes for a delicate shadow, simple and elegant. The other glassare in its rainbow of colors is beautiful in shadowy style!

'Happiness depends upon ourselves' - so true but why do we search it from other people, shopping, gaming etc.
Have a good week Sylvia!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
