Evening, Wisdom and Beauty!!

The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.

The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.  Elisabeth Foley

When the snow is still blowing against the window-pane in January and  February and the wild winds are howling without, what pleasure it is to plan for summer that is to be.

your blog Sylvia is an inspiration to me in many ways, the simple beauty of the photos and the calmness of the quotes in whatever storm we are in and as always a little bit of laughter. Thanks for the effort of your continued support to many bloggers.

The picture of the rose just proves my point Sylvia, roses are the only flower that can look beautiful right up until the very last petal falls off!

You take the best sky photos I have ever seen. These are beautiful, but of course I like the rose as well.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
