http://ourworldtuesdaymeme.blogspot.com/ The Seattle area has quite a variety of shopping centers and not your usual ones, so it's always fun to visit one you haven't been to before and that was the case with this one in nearby Botthell, WA, a small suburb of Seattle. That's where my favorite tea shop is -- which I have shown you before. But the whole shopping center is like a small country village. Hope you enjoy! |

love those yellow flowers!
and that little guy in the last photo is really handsome!
hope you have a great week ahead~
big hugs~
I would love to visit this "small country village." It's very different, very attractive, and looks warm and inviting. In terms of how it approaches things, it reminds a bit of The Villages.
Which reminds me also of your question this morning: Cody's Roadhouse is a chain. We have one in Ocala, and there are others around northern Florida. Some people like it a lot. I think the "Vacancy" sign is part of the ambiance - roadhouses, in the old days, included rooms to let...so they put up the sign to complete the image of an old roadhouse which let rooms and served food.
Best to you for a wonderful week ahead.
Your photos today were exemplary!
Oh, what a charming shopping centre! Much nicer than those big indoor malls.
I can’t remember being to Botthell, WA, but it sure seems loaded with villiage charm and worth a visit. I bet the little tea shop will miss seeing you there, Sylvia!
The name Bothell sounds familiar, I must have seen it on roadsigns! What a wonderful place to shop!
What a fun mix of shops Sylvia. Great shots.
Great area for shopping!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
in addition to the shoppers there are wildlife too, i see chicken and cat.
Now this is where I'd like to do my shopping Sylvia ..... just gorgeous and a rooster to liven up the day.
Sylvia, looks like a fun place to shop. Much nicer than the usual malls. And the rooster is a cool sight to see too. Thanks for sharing, wishing you a happy week ahead!
so fun and beautiful. Well taking care of it seems. Love that little bridge.
I imagine it looks even prettier when it is lit up at night. Those yellow flowers are beautiful.
Hello Sylvia,
What a beautiful place! I hope I will visit here and take a walk someday.
According to a calendar, on February 4th, spring started. In your photos I felt spring in the air and in lovely flowers.
All photos are splendid! I love your header too!!

Beautiful images to start my day. Such peaceful surroundings with nature all around.
Have a lovely week Sylvia :)
Wow ,nice cozy place .
Change before you have to. That is a thought to dwell on, isn't it? It is probably quite true, but it is also quite scary. We are not all equally nimble.
I love that shopping center. What a great place.
Cute little place, like a hidden treasure! I love that train-like converted shop!
I don't know where to begin Sylvia. I am blown away. I absolutely love all of them!!
Oh my I have so much to learn. These shots are so so so wonderful! Can I move there?
Your world looks heavenly! Happy week to you!
It is a wonderful community, thanks for the tour, as i am almost sure i will not be able to see that landscape. But it is so amusing that a stray chicken is roaming around, haha, as if it is in the backward province here in our country.
Hello dear Sylvia, lovely set of pictures, the vegetation is very rich, I love the green in these images and the cute little friend in your last shot!
Hugs
