So many of you have expressed an enjoyment of the pics from the Chihuly Center here in Seattle at the Space Needle, that I decided to share some more. It is an awesome exhibit and he does have some amazing, different displays! Hope you enjoy these!

There is so much wisdom in those quotes, particularly on how to live a rich and contented life. The artwork seems to express those sayings in a visually awe-inspiring way!

Questions: 1) Have you ever been up the Space Needle? I hate heights and undoubtedly would decline at invitation to visit the top. 2) Where were the other photos taken...they look like Chihuly (sp?) glass...very beautiful. At first I thought maybe you were in an aquarium but then I looked more closely and decided I was all wet.

Very beautiful artwork ! I love the colours and the glass work like an underwater world. I don't like all modern art but this is like a fairy tale with beautiful colour combinations.
Have a great weekend, dear Sylvia!

Beautiful shot of the Space Needle. I love the angle. Last time I was in Seattle I only got as close as Pikes market, so never really had a chance at such a good close up.

I saw the Chihuly exhibit in Tacoma several years ago and was blown away. You've captured those nicely too!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

That's it! You have fresh seafood, green views, rain, and Chihuly glass. We don't have any of that in the desert (although we have other delights like cacti, rattlers, tarantulas, and cowboys), so we're planning a trip up to our old neighborhood in WA state.

As soon as I started to write that I was going on a search for rain, guess what? It started to rain here. We savor every drop, so I'm going outside to do my old lady rain dance now.
