One of the things I have truly enjoyed about where I've lived the past two years is the roof, where one can have a garden, have terrific views for photography, or just to enjoy the beauty! I've done a little of all of them!!

April has put a spirit of youth in everything!

Love the header. And April will be here before you know it. By the way, who's April?

o, you have a roof garden. How lovely. We have a flat roof on our house where I live, but it is locked so we can´t use it. It´s a pity really. :(

Such a wonderful contrast to your mosaic...and the banner. It has to be one of the cutest. It definitely put a grin on my tired old face tonight. genie

It is kind of a reflective time, isn't it? Looking back with a blend of sadness and pleasure but looking forward with excitement and anticipation.

Lovely shots. How wonderful to have a roof garden! Even better the view! I told Hubbers if he let me climb on the roof, I would get much better sunset shots! He told me that I have enough trouble with stability on the ground. LOL

You certainly have been posting lovely photos from your roof top during the time you have enjoyed living in this community. I am sure you will miss it, particularly the view but, there will be so many other beautiful things to discover.
Thank you for the wisdom in your posts.

I'm still not fully conversant with all my electronics but hope to be posting at least twice a week.

If I had a view like that on my roof, my wife would always know where to find me!

Hi Ms S, your header says Portland, have you moved already? I love to visit Oregon!

Take care, and hope to see new skies from a new State!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
