What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Beautiful photo and words, Sylvia.
Great words, I hope your trip and resettlement are going well.
Lovely color and quote .
This is a marvelous quote. I think we don't make enough of an effort to make ourselves happy. We seem to be more interested in making ourselves miserable.
"Big sigh"...beautiful!
Dear Sylvia, lovely image!
Have a nice day,
hugs

I would have said it would takes MORE work to make oneself miserable. Maybe that is why all the people who are on self-enforced diets seem so grumpy?
Soothing
Stunning sky Sylvia..

It's been raining all day here so it's good to see the sun setting somewhere!
