Sylvia, I'm shocked with the new header and I simply can't comment anything else. It is so sad and I am truly sorry for the loss of your four-legged friend Sam.

sigh. First I thought "oh that blue's a winner"....

Then I saw the red and lace.

Always there's beauty (or a LOL grinner)

to be found at Sylvia's place!

Have a peaceful weekend dear lady - these are both gorgeous. YAM.xx

You do know how to do these reflections. You could do a whole series called "Reflections on a table." It would be great. And then, when you won first prize, you could enjoy a glass of wine!

Those who have not had the pleasure of having a pet reside in the home wouldn't understand the lovely eulogy of Sam - a family member that loved unconditionally and happily lived a loving life. The memories will last always...

The colors of the stemware settle into the shadows of equal beauty. Always nicely captured!

There's something so warm and inviting about your colored glass shadows, Sylvia. Make me want to sit down and share a sip or two with you! :)

I love your glass shadows! The blue is stunning, but I have a question "where's the wine that must have been in that bottle?" ;)

Your blue shadows are so lovely, but especially love how the red shadows seem to intertwine with the lacy ones!
Hope the sun is shining for you this weekend!

Although sometimes on the golf course the topic of life's unfairness does come to the surface. Like a long 3-wood leaking off into the water, or a 6-wood clipping the end of a palm frond and changing directions into the palmettos, or . . .

If my memory doesn't play tricks on me I remember you are an expert in shooting these color shadows !

Coloured glasses, laces & shadows? Perfectly taken of a great shadow chaser, I ever known from the start of SSS with Tracy.

Thank you for all your inspirations, Maam S.

Have a happy & blessed Sunday.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
