Weekend Reflections!!

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty.

It was a high counsel that I once heard given to a young person, "Always do
what you are afraid to do.
 Ralph Waldo Emerson

Nature does nothing uselessly.
        Aristotle

You can never be happy at the expense of the happiness of others.

Beautiful photos, reflections and quotes, Sylvia. Love the quote about Nature doing nothing needlessly... Wish WE would learn to take better care of nature.
Hugs,

Love the look of the sun reflecting on the water in your first photo. The schooner is a beautiful sailboat. These old wooden boats need to be loved to stay alive, and this one is.

I feel your ache in losing your furry pal.
My favorite image is the middle one because it whispers serenity to me, and that is a quote worth remembering!

Love that ship in the sea image especially. (Always sad to lose a major part of any family. Sweet photo too.)

The Emerson quotation is quite thought-provoking. Where do you find these quotes?

That tugboat looks a little low in the water! The sailboat is grand, this think they are so cool.

It's been a long time since I've participated in Weekend Reflections, thus quite a while since I paid a visit here. I'd forgotten how much I enjoy the quotes you find to accompany your photos. I really enjoy the first one you selected today.

Enjoy your day!

I love your photos! The bottom one is my favorite.

I'm so sorry to read the news about Sam. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. A little over a month ago our 17yr old cat that we've had since she was a kitten died and now our other 17 yr old cat is in the hospital. :-(
