Good Morning Sylvia, you are the queen of shadows, in a good way.

Ours is a shadowy world or at least it means the sun is shining. MB

Oooo! Love the light coming through the shell and the wonderful scalloped edged shadow it cast. And, of course, ALWAYS am enamored with the colored glass. Always.
How is the move going?

Your coloured glasses throw lovely shadows just like my prisms throw rainbows around the room. The shell shadow looks very cam-like.
Have a very Happy Mothers' Day.

The shell is like Nature's catcher's mitt! Lovely shots once again... Hope the weekend is shaping up nicely for you. Hugs, YAM xx

Your shadow shots are always spectacular, Sylvia. I felt for you too, when I saw Sam Schnauzer's photo and your message. I think of you frequently, Sylvia. Blessings Jo

I really like the colorful wineglass shots! Very artistic! Did you get them from the Napa Valley?! :P Have a nice weekend!

I like the shell of the mollusk (conch or abalone?), the sunlight filtering through the shell is artistic, the shadows sublime. The stemware is always beautiful, and the goose and gander look splendid under the shade - avoid their nestlings as they peck first and ask questions second...

Love the shadows and illumination.

And Ralph Waldo Emerson's words are simple and wise indeed.

I am a sucker for colored glass and its reflections. Especially cobalt blue and amber. Where is the ruby red?

Every weekend, I wait patiently for another one of your wine glass shadow shots. Well, today I got my wish, and it was a blue one. So darn pretty. That table and window go together like two peas in a pod. genie

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
