Our World

Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link  to go to the Our World site and sign up!!

I haven't been able to get out much this past week, so I'm sharing a few more shots from the Rose Festival of last weekend. Hope you enjoy!  The first shot is where many concerts are held every summer and such a lovely place to enjoy the music!!  I'll be a little late commenting on your posts for the day -- errands, you know how that is!! But I'll be there to see Your Worlds!!

What a smart way to create seating on a hill. Outdoor concerts are such a great way to experience music!

Wonderful summer shots with a wealth of roses. That lawn slide seems like great fun too.

Hi Sylvia...I can't comment on your post with your new Google setup without completing a Google profile which I really don't want to do. I'll be checking back here occasionally to see if this link still works. Best wishes to you.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
