Hi Maam Sylvia,

Happy to visit you back. It's been awhile not seeing you.

Seems you have a great summer weather. Sweden is a bit sturggling, for a warm sunny day.

Happy SSS2,
/CC girl

Like your new header - Rainer is magnificent !

The park is lovely in sun and shade and the rich shadows that emanate from the blinds are artistic. Whether in Portland or Seattle!

the quotes today speak to my heart and mind, especially Lindquist's. I agree with Austin's quote, your photo speaks eloquently. happy to see you back!

Lovely shadowy walkway! And the second photo suggests that there is a kind of limbo between yesterday and views of tomorrow! Powerful, dramatic shadows in this one!

A cool, shady place among huge trees - perfect place to enjoy shadows. I like the stripes from your blinds, too.

I'd rather look at the shadows of the blinds than out the window!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
