I like the similar shadows that emanate from quite different sources: the scroll-y table legs and the lace. We see soft and curvaceous shadows that are artistry underfoot. Artistic and soft and very nice!

The shadow lace shot reminds me of a wax resist batik!

Those are beautiful curtains, and they cast wonderful shadows. Your home must be a delight.

A wonderful sharing of shadows. Makes a nice rest area and think about your inspiring words.

Lovely shadows, Sylvia. Sorry I haven't been commenting lately, but life has seemed to have gotten in the way. Busy with friends, Doctors and family. Thanks for always stopping by my blog and commenting. It means a lot to me.

Lovely gathering of shadows round the table and chairs! Like a friendly chatter! And such lovely lacy shadows!

Nice words. Hope they fit with reality.

I was a little worried there would be no more lacy reflections when you moved Sylvia, I should have known better :)

Oh! These are wonderful! It must've have been pretty funny to see Donald Duck following those ducklings! But, I especially love that lost one-the lace curtain with it's delicate shadow, Yummy!

Great pics and great quotes. How we choose to respond to things that happen to us is huge!! I hope that you had a good weekend Sylvia.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
