Great quote! Even if you took your good friend out to lunch all the time, it would still be cheaper than therapy and more rewarding! Here's to friendship!

Hi Sylvia! Thanks for your nice comment on L&L...

We're fine; just taking a much-needed break. Having fun.

Love this shady shadowy photo! And the snowflakes falling. And the fact you got such a hero's welcome in Moscow. Amazing!

Take good care and enjoy the holiday season as best you can.

Oh you would put in a soothing summer scene when we are in a deep freeze in Utah.

So restful and lovely ...wonder how long it will take before that lovely green is covered with your snowfall ;>)...can you tell that I am impressed that you added snow? ...I have no idea how you'd do such a thing.

Great photo --of the GREEN grass... Makes me yearn for spring/summer.... ha

Love the quote also.

Please share with me your snow gadget... I have one --but love the larger snowflakes.

Hugs,
Betsy

Love the view - I still am wondering where the shady and sultry summer has gone as it snows today in New England. But we have shadowy and warm posts like this!

Gorgeous expanse of emerald green. A great palette for crisp shadow shapes. Beautiful scene.

And better have a couple of good friends rather than a zillion acquaintances....
Happy Sunday!

I'm intrigued by the figure in the grass! Looks almost like a shadow.

That green lawn looks very inviting in December!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
