Let's Go to the Beach!!!

We look forward to the time when the power of love will replace the love of power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.
William Ewart Gladstone

This is the best kind of voyeurism, hearing joy from your neighbors.

The beach sounds like a wonderful idea! Beautiful pictures Sylvia. Those clouds in the second shot are quite dramatic. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The beach is beautiful but it doesn't look warm enough to swim. Of course it's been so cold here of late you wouldn't want to swim in our waters, either!

Hope you had a great day yesterday and wishing you a wonderful weekend!

That's a nice beach - I'm ready. We've got beach weather this weekend here, except for a bit of wind. Have a great weekend, Sylvia!

I love the beach in almost any season with the exception of summer! it's always too crowded and beastly hot!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
