Our World!!

The greater part of our happiness depends on our dispositions, and not on our circumstances.
Martha Washington
There is more to life than increasing its speed.
Mahatma Gandhi
Knowledge of what is possible is the beginning of happiness.
George Santayana
Spring draws nearer each day, mostly in small ways, but they leave no doubt that it is in the air and all around us!!

So what if one is disposed to be circumstantially indisposed? I dunno.

Just kidding. Nice flowery pictures to carry on the hope for spring. It's sunny here but still cool.

Hope you're doing well and you've given Blogger a good whipping!

Lovely blooms Sylvia. So much nicer to look at than the snow and ice outside my window!

Spring is definitely in the air … I saw someone jogging in cutoffs today and now with the time change the daylight hours are longer. Hooray is right!

Sylvia, your link on Our World Tuesday is not working because it is missing the ".com."

So pretty!

Once again, Sylvia, VDP's posts are up for today and yesterday. THe fact that you don't see them in the reading list doesn't mean that I'm not posting, merely that Blogger isn't retrieving the feed.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
