I love looking back. Well, sometimes. Sometimes I think, "Oh, my achin' back!" And then if I want music I look Bach!

You have a great weekend, too, my friend and thanks for your comment on L & L!

How fun! I see Tolstoy's grandchildren are as mesmerized as the rest of us. PS I think I owned those stewardess boots!

Stewardesses have sure changed over the years. I used to fly Southwest a lot in 1971 and their outfits were still pretty skimpy then. - Margy

I was trying to see the photo of the Southwest stewardesses, but my glasses were steamed up. Can you re-post it bigger?

Those child laborers smoke like old men! So sad.

The stewardesses....I thought they were cheerleaders!

I like them all but the construction of "Miss Liberty" is amazing!

Thanks for sharing I love old photos like these! On a side note I'm pretty sure the bottom photo is from the late 1960's or early 70's.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
