One Quiet Moment

I've never known anyone yet who doesn't suffer a certain restlessness when autumn rolls around... We're all eight years old again and anything is possible.

Love that quote since I do love Autumn SO much... We have had a hot week here --but today, it turned cooler... LOVE it....

Overall though it has not been a hot summer here.. Have only had our AC on for 15 days all summer... BUT--they say it will be another cold winter this year --like we had last year. Yuk to that! ha

Great photo too.
Hugs,
Betsy

I loved autumn when I lived permanently in South Africa. It meant cleaning, cutting away dead stuff and preparing my garden for spring and more. In Tanzania I don't garden, and all is dry and dusty. Mmm. We're entering spring and the first rains-season so "all's green in our garden" Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day. Jo

Such a mild season with those wonderful burnished Autumnal colours. A delightful capture Sylvia.

Hi Sylvia! I just saw on TV that there has been a lot of rain causing a flood in parts of the USA. I hope it will soon be over and that you are not in these regions
Have a great week!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
