Love your new header. My mouth hangs open at the many different ideas your "header" artist has of you. And all so perfect. Have a great day, Sylvia.

Great sky photos... Love the quotes also. IF we EVER need peace and love between countries and between people, it's NOW.

Sylvia, the top image is magnificent! I'd love to live close to water, other than what comes out of my faucets. Of course, I'm grateful for that, but still...

It's the water that charms me most, Sylvia. Our desert surely could use some!

2 beautiful photos in this post. I love the composition of the first photo. Good use of the silhouette from tree and the marina inclusion is very lovely.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful shots. Sylvia, I can imagine you miss the water, but the sky can be beautiful without water too.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Such a great quote... It's not that hard to be at peace with others.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
