Sky Watch!!

Welcome to another Sky Watch and a chance to see so much beauty from around the world and to share the beauty from your own world!! And all we have to do to find this beauty is to look up!! So, join us and enjoy!!
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
       - Leo Buscaglia

No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.
       - Aesop, Greek

Kindness is more important than wisdom, and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.

All three photos have lovely light, Sylvia. And if everyone read and believed those three quotes, there'd be way LESS trouble in our world today.

aah, thank you for sharing the beauty around you. Buscaglia's quote hits the nail on the head. I know because after I've sent a "thinking of you" card to someone, she let me know that it came at just the right time to brighten her day. The cost of a card and stamp are a small price to bring joy to someone.

Kindness is a much neglected art these days.
Take care Sylvia. We are going to get ice, rain, snow, and who knows what else this weekend.

Wow, the second photo is amazing. Looks like a big rain squall, and you can see it reflected on the water. What a great capture!

Oh la! Three very beautiful images, they are a perfect match for the quotes, quotes that would make the world a much nicer place if more people lived by them. Happy weekend Sylvia..

You don't need these reminders, Sylvia. You are congenitally kind.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
