The
flamboyant tree, Madagascar. By Salete T Silva
Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine,
freedom and a little flower. - Hans Christian Anderson
I arise in the morning torn between a desire to
improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan
the day. -Elwyn Brooks White
If you search the world for happiness you may find
it in the end, for the world is round and will lead you back to your door.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Love the quotes as always but that funny one by Elwyn Brooks (someone I am not at all familiar with) really strikes a chord with me today. I think I'll choose enjoy!
A version of that tree grows here in Florida later in the Spring; I will try to post a picture of it and let you know when I do.
You have come across some great trees...this reminds me of one that grows in Florida but ours is not as big or pretty.
Wishing you a great Sunday!
That tree reminds me of our royal poinciana.
