My World!!

Another new week!! The time does fly whether you’re having fun or not, but fortunately for me, I nearly always have fun!!  One of the best things about visiting Seattle is being able to go to the beach!! I do love the water!! So, of course, my friends took me to the beach for a few hours before it was time to return to Portland. And, I’m sharing a few of those moments with you today – yes, Seattle is still my “other” home!!
Hope all of you have had a great weekend and that you are ready for a new week – and hopefully it will be a great new week!!

I have found that if you love life, life will love you back - Arthur Rubinstein.

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Happiness is like a butterfly.
The more you chase it, the more it eludes you.
But if you turn your attention to other things,
It comes and sits softly on your shoulder.
 - Henry David Thoreau

I think everyone should be told they’re beautiful until they believe it – Unknown
Happiness always sneaks in a door you did not think was open – Anony-mouse.

I didn't even know there were beaches like this in Seattle... Looks a bit cooler than our beaches (which is a good thing!). Glad you had such a good time.

I'm landlocked in CO, but my heart always yearns for the beach! Looks pretty busy there.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
