Cute post! And a Happy Fourth to you! I'll bet it's hotter here than Portland, though. Maybe.

Hope you have a good 4th! There is an American family sat next to me at the airport, trying to make the best of a rather poor meal to celebrate!

Trying to catch up on visits and comment while I wait for a flight - one busy week to go and it's back to normal!

Cheers - Stewart M - Heathrow Airport UK (for the next couple of hours!)

We have the typical monsoony, hot southwest weather here. Thunderstorms could jeopardize our fireworks tonight or add to it! Have a wonderful 4th!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
