Sky Watch Friday!!

Welcome to Sky Watch!! Enjoy skies from all over the world and share yours as well!! They are beautiful – sometimes calm and plain, sometimes wild and colorful, but nearly always beautiful!!
We’ve had amazingly mild weather lately – as I’ve told/shown you, but every now and then the evening skies have their own “gig” with lots of color and cloud formations. Here are a few of those!! Hope you enjoy!!

Clouds are the sky's imagination. ~Terri Guillemets

Those playful fancies of the mighty sky. ~Albert Smith (clouds)

And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow. ~G.K. Chesterton

There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul. ~Victor Hugo

Gorgeous Sylvia -- and those dramatic skies are rare in mild Pacific NW weather and therefore even more precious when seen. Thank you for sharing the joy!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
