Very funny. I do have one big old telephone my inlaws bought me that is old school. That is the phone I use when I want to call somebody.

More funny stuff! I would love to be able to slam down a phone now and then. But technology always seems to bring trade-offs. I wish I'd seen that pillow before now. But...what the heck. G'nite!

yeah, the slamming the receiver down just isn't the same as 'boop!' :)

Hi Sylvia, Thank you for putting a smile on my face with these photos today! :-) You know, there is a lot of truth in that one about slamming the phone down! Ha ha. Thanks, as always, for your kind words on my blog. We had a big rain/wind storm yesterday that seemed to clear everything out. Refreshing, but too much wind for some. Hope all is well with you in Portland. Take care and have a good week ahead!

I had one of those princess phones when I was a teenager only it was blue!

hey!- maybe some violence would be avoided if we still used the vintage phones. soft-closing cabinets too take the relief out of slamming a kitchen cabinet for effect.

I would go back to bed if I thought I could actually get to sleep again. Sleeplessness is the curse of the not-young.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
